"Hello, I just wanted to give you an update on Sasha's progress. We have completed several training classes over the last few months and have just been accepted in a service dog training program. Normally they don't allow clients to select their own dog but Sasha has really impressed them. The trainers said they have never seen a more shock proof dog. She has received an excellent rating with other dogs, children, and has excelled at ever test they can give her. In the trainers words, " You couldn't have picked a better dog." Her official capacity will be as an autism service dog. She will be trained to help relieve clinical depression and anxiety, which conventional medical treatment was not able to improve. She will also preform additional task such as breaking my concentration when I become fixated and forget to eat, sleep, and general self care. Technically she will fall in the category of a medical service dog because she will be used to reduce autism related symptoms. Border Collies are a great breed and have given a lot of meaning to my life. I would like to raise awareness of their great character and aptitude for learning, even in this very challenging task. Also, I can honestly say that of all the border collie breeders that I have seen you were the most genuine and caring, while also rasing the best puppies. I was looking for a dog of impossible qualities... thanks to you I have just that. I will be forever grateful."
